EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Potin Tetradrachm (24mm, 15.06 g, 12h). Dated RY 4 (AD 240/1). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Laureate bust right of Zeus, slight drapery; L ∆ (date) across field. Köln 2652 var. (obv. legend); Dattari (Savio) 10281; K&G 72.99 var. (same); Emmett 3432.4. Good VF, dark gray-brown surfaces, flan flaw on Gordian's neck.
